EDWIN NOREÑA Omniroast - Kávoholik Coffee Roasters

One last cracker for this year, because we couldn't keep our hands off this co-fermented coffee. Edwin Noreña produces the most exciting co-fermented coffees on the market on his farm Finca Campo Hermoso in Quindio, Colombia. And with this coffee we are also presenting you with a roaster that is new to us - Kávoholik Coffee Roasters from Bratislava, Slovakia. This pink bourbon is fermented with a mixture of the must of coffee cherries, glucose and watermelon in a carbonic maceration process. The beans are then separated from the coffee cherries and processed as honey. This creates one of the most complex and intense omniroasts that has landed in our coffee shop this year. Brewed as an espresso, it impresses with its extreme sweetness of ripe watermelon. As a filter coffee, this coffee simply reminds us of the pink Hubba Bubba from our childhood - sweet, juicy, fruity.
